FAQs



Are there any additional fees when booking a proposal or decorating package?

❤ Decorating package prices DO NOT include the hotel room reservation. Room must be booked and confirmed before scheduling a decor package. Simply add our name to the reservation to give us access to the room for a predetermined timeframe...we will do the magic while you're out and return the key when finished!

❤ Proposal packages DO NOT include venue or permit fees. State parks, city parks and beaches require a permit to reserve the space for a specific date and time. Fees vary based on where you choose to propose, but we will never upcharge any of these fees and will disclose them as soon as the location is chosen and the venue is contacted by our team to arrange the details and confirm availability.

❤ Simply Perfect Proposals is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH CLEAN-UP from hotel decorating. All packages include a complimentary clean-up kit left in the room at time of service and we offer a next-morning room cleaning visit before housekeeping arrives at an additional fee, but this must be booked in advance and is based on availability. 

❤ Packages DO NOT include any parking fees set by the location or venue. This will be determined ahead of time and added to final invoice.

When should I start planning my proposal package?

❤ The sooner you can commit, the better! Most venues ask for a minimum of 30 days to review and accept an application for permitted use pending date availability. Simply Perfect Proposals will reach out to vendors, park management or restaurants to discuss details and file all applications on your behalf, all you need to do is commit to a date and have a general idea of what you're looking for in a set-up.
 
Do you travel outside of Rhode Island?
❤ YES!!! We will travel to any part of Rhode Island with no additional fees and within 30 miles from Providence for out-of-state locations (yes, even Boston!). Any locations outside of the 30 mile radius will incur an additional "per mile" fee added to the invoice, to and from the site.

How much is it up front to book a service?

❤ To set a date with us, we require the permit fee (if applicable) and a 20% non-refundable deposit. We allow payments to be made over time, however the full balance must be paid 7 days before the date. 

What is the cancellation policy?

❤ We understand things happen...if you must cancel the booking, any payments made after the initial 20% deposit (and permit fee for proposals) and BEFORE THE 7 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR BOOKED DATE will be fully refunded.

The initial deposit and permit fee is NON-REFUNDABLE as this holds the date from other clients and any cancellation within 7 days of booked date forfeits any payments already made.

Changing the date is decided on a case-by-case basis and availability, before the 7 day window.
