Waterfire date night
Partnering with Posh Picnics Co., we can take your proposal to a more intimate, serene setting with a picnic set up in a park, on the beach or even in your own backyard! We work closely with Lavender Graze Charcuterie to create a special engagement-themed charcuterie board for two, or upgrade to a fully catered picnic for an additional fee.

During Waterfire season, invite your partner to attend a lighting and enjoy the upbeat, romantic energy in the heart of Providence while supporting local artistry! End your walk in an illuminated space tailor designed for your proposal. Simply choose a package from our menu and we will work out the details with our friends over at Waterfire. There is no set fee to use the space but we do ask that a donation be made to support the program for future lightings!
Kinney Azalea Gardens
Fort Adams Trust
Located in Kingston, Rhode Island, tour the 16 acres of beautiful botanical gardens and end at one of two locations available to rent for your private engagement! Choose from one of our packages and we will work out the details with the team at Kinney Azalea Gardens. You can keep it private with just you and a partner or have under 50 surprise guests for the same fee.
Located in Newport, Rhode Island, this historic landmark has panoramic ocean views and can host not only your engagement but your wedding, too! Simply Perfect Proposals partnered with this amazing venue for anyone interested in its historical value along with stunning coastal views! Arrange for a private tour of the Fort that ends with a proposal on one of the lawns, a deck overlooking the ocean or inside the casemate. The venue fee set by the Fort goes directly to restoration and preservation efforts of this stunning landmark. Sites available for your proposal (and/or future wedding) can be seen here!
Newport Harbor Island Resort &

In partnership with Newport Harbor Island Resort, our clients are offered a set fee to utilize the lighthouse for a private proposal with 360-degree ocean views and a stunning view of the Newport Bridge in spring, summer and fall. In winter months, we move the proposal inside to one of many beautiful interior sites within the resort!
Reserve a room, dine at their on-site restaurant and walk your partner to their surprise proposal, all without having to leave the resort! Newport Harbor Island Resort has also graciously offered our clients a future credit of the venue fee if you choose to book your wedding there! You can exchange vows in the same spot you got engaged!
